The characteristics of God found in Exodus 1:1-18 are love, strength, peace, faith, wisdom, persistence and confidence. Of the characteristics listed the three attributes that resonate with me are love, faith and peace. In this selected passage of scripture, love was demonstrated by their commitment to each other and to God under Pharoah watch.
God’s faithfulness is demonstrated through the obedience of the people who continued to be fruitful, and the people put God first. They feared Pharoah but feared God more, therefore they choose to keep Him first. But the midwives feared God and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them but saved the men children alive. (KJSB)
Being persistent in what was right helped them to go forward and take the task of fulfilling what was taught by God thru those that had showed them how to walk in what they believed in and refuse to be made weak. Wisdom is very important when you trust in the things that comes with understanding the power of God. Belief in God is a matter of faith not what you see or how you feel. The most important one to me is having the confidence of knowing God and his word. We should take the approach of scriptures in the word of God, and scientist that have research abilities about the universe in space.
