course will cover the “Writings” section of the Hebrew canon, place the prophets
in their historical context, and consider the theology of the entirety of the
Old Testament.

course will cover Genesis through Kings in the Hebrew arrangement, giving an
intermediate-level survey. Key texts for theology and problematic texts will be
highlighted.
