Weekly Project 6 - Bible Lesson
(1) Write and submit a comprehensive lesson on a passage from one of the books we have studied thus far.
(2) Students are required to follow the “hook, book, look, took” format. Video and written instructions for this format are posted on Moodle as well as a sample lesson that exemplifies what we are looking for.
(3) Lessons should be detailed enough that a student could hand one to a classmate and he or she could teach it immediately. Lessons will be graded according to the “Lesson Grading Rubric” file that is posted on Moodle. Student performance on this assignment will be recorded for assessment purposes to determine whether the college curriculum is adequately meeting the objectives of the Bible/Theology Major.
(4) Note: because we are working to improve your lesson writing ability, the grading expectations will be higher in OT2 and OT3. To pass this same assignment in OT2 you will need a 2.7 and in OT3 you will need at least a 3.3. Anything less will be counted as a 0.0. So you may want to keep your lesson feedback from this year.
