Weekly Project 2 - Map Quiz Assignment
Writing your own clues or questions, create a map quiz using the map provided. Incude the places listed below. You must have at least one clue or question for each place name. You may include fill-in-the-blank questions, multiple-choice questions, open-ended questions, or any others you can think of that would lead a quiz-taker to write the correct name in the correct place on the map.
You should include all the quiz questions as well as complete your quiz by putting the place names in the appropriate places on the map. The point is that the quiz-taker will know information about each place in the word bank and then be able to write the proper name where it belongs on the map. The map can be digital or
you can draw it out and upload a photo. The clues and questions should be typed in Word or Google Docs. If you can figure out how to include the map in the same file as your typed questions, you may. If you need to submit two separate files, you may do that as well.
Example clues:
1. The two rivers that form the outer boundaries of the place known as "the cradle of civilization."
(The quiz-taker would choose the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers from the word bank and write their names on the map where the rivers belong.)
2. King Nebuchadnezzar conquered the Northern Kingdom of Israel and forced what might have been considered the 1% (royalty, wealthy, intelligent, priestly) to return with him to the city of ______________________.
(The quiz-taker would write "Babylonia" on the blank and then write it where it belongs on the map.)
--You may not use either of these example clues in your own quiz.--
