A study of how human beings operate within a social context and the experimental research that contributes to an understanding of their social development.


This class will examine the basics of family counseling, including systems thinking, circular causality, and process orientation, along with specific approaches for enrichment and problem solving.


This course will examine all the major counseling theories and connect the theories with corresponding and applicable techniques and interventions.  Students will evaluate the theories and identify which ones resonate with them as well as how they integrate with Christian views.
