Understanding the differences in communication styles, techniques, and natural tendencies is crucial to effective communication in all aspects of life. IOC 340 will help students understand themselves, their preferred communication styles, and the communication styles of others, in order to better communicate with those around them as they serve and lead.

Change is constant. As believers, we will be leading change in our lives, churches, and the organizations in which we work. IOC 420 serves the mission of GLCC by helping students understand the complex nature of change and how people relate to change. It will help them develop the skills necessary to identify changes needed, and then give them the tools to successfully lead others through change in a healthy manner that glorifies God and furthers the Kingdom.
