An examination of contemporary accounting issues relevant to decision-makers and managers, such as principles, techniques, and various uses of accounting in the planning and decision-making within the organization. Study includes generally accepted accounting principles and techniques for measurement and reporting of financial information in a balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows.


This course focuses on three main areas of Marketing and PR that impact Business success. These areas include: Marketing strategies and solutions, Social Media Platforms, and Podcasts & Blogs. Throughout the semester we will explore specific strategies and solutions for real marketing issues, the ever-changing platforms of Social Media and their influence on the front face of a business, and the power of the Podcast / Blogs in today’s world.
